• First Youth Mass for 2010 is on Sunday 14th February 2010 starting at 6.30pm. Practice commences before Mass at 5pm.

Every Christmas the Christ Child in the manger at Bethlehem invites us to stop ... and pay attention to the things that are especially important in our lives: our loved ones, our family and friends, and our loving God who holds us in existence, 'in the palm of his hand'.

When Christmas is over, an excellent way to grow in faith and to develop one's relationship with God is to join in the celebration of the Eucharist on Sundays, here in our local community. You will be most welcome.

Fornightly on Sundays during school term, all children up to Grade 6 leave the church during Sunday's 10.30am Mass to attend their own liturgy.

We have lots of fun, read from a Children's Bible and do a fun related activity which may include making something to take home. Any child of primary school age or pre-school age is invited to come along.

The parish garage will be open from 10.30am to 11.30am each Saturday morning starting 13th February until the fair for donations of saleable items for the Trash & Treasure Stall, Pre-loved Books & Toys, etc. Unfortunately, we cannot accept clothing or mattresses.

2010 Sacramental Program for Government School Children

Enrolment for the Sacramental Program will occur on

Tuesday 9th February at 7.00pm

in the Salesian Sisters Hall, 43 George Street, Scoresby.

Please bring along the Baptism Certificate.

Sacramental Lessons Program begins on Tuesday 16th February 2010 at 7pm - 8pm.

Members of the parish community are warmly invited to attend the upcoming Mater Christi Open Day, Thursday 18th February 2010, 9:00 am to 12 noon, and 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Tour the College, experience classes in action and meet the principal Ms Mary Fitz-Gerald.

All prospective students and their parents are invited to our first round of information sessions and College tours on Saturday 20th February 2010.

To be held in the Bunjil Creation Centre, the information sessions start promptly at 11am and 2pm, followed by student-led tours of the campus.

The Raffle is a major fundraising activity for the Parish. Please watch for your tickets being distributed now and support this fundraising effort.
