Pope Benedict XVI has spoken often in recent times of very important times in lives of all of us to renew our faith in Christ and His ways. One such time is the holy season of Lent.

The 400 metre journey of Christ to His death on the Cross, is above all, the proof that we are loved and precious to Him. Meditating on this journey, may help us respond to His love for each and every one of us, as the Pope says, when we can renew our faith in a God Who loves us.

Stations of the Cross Windows

The new Stations of the Cross were commissioned at St Jude's Parish Church Scoresby in December 2008. It is with thanks to the generosity of all parishioners at St Judes in the Thanksgiving Offering and other fundraising efforts that we are now able to journey with Christ through our new Stations of the Cross during Easter. We hope that they will help give us a more meaningful and prayerful experience throughout the Lenten Season and Holy Week.

St Jude's Parish Stations of the Cross were designed by John Kelly and made by Brian Turner of Victorian Leadlights. We thank John and Brian.
